Do you think more hardcore SW fans would be rooting for Kylo's redemption if he was Luke's son?

They were right not to make Kylo Vader Mark 2, as Vader was a complete original. And so is Kylo. I honestly can't see him as a 'villain',he is much much more than that. Hux is much more a 'bad guy',and I suspect he's being groomed as the next Tarkin with the destruction of Hosnia; Kylo I am sure is being set up for redemption.
