Rey's Lineage Discussion II

Jumping in a bit late here, but has there been any speculation on the main characters from Lost Stars being Rey's parents? It's my pet theory.

John Williams's take on Rey's lineage. I love the fact that he has a soft spot for Rey/Daisy.

I'm totally fine with rey nobody but my crack head cannon has always loved the idea of her being connected to palpatine, specifically his creation. He did a lot of stuff in Jakku and I think during the Battle of Jakku something went off and somehow Rey was created then (Ben was also born during the battle apparently?). A perfect storm of sorts- all these factors coming together to create her/ This way you address she's connected to palps but then can also maintain her nobody parents. Maybe her drunkard parents randomly found her and decided to take care of her for fun, but not really invested, another reason why they didn't take care of her well. I am doubting she's blood related to palps because then you have to connect one of her parents to palpatine which just gets convoluted I think.

I'm fully in on Rey Kenobi! My second favorite theory is that she's some kind of Palpatine experiment that spent a lot of time frozen in carbonite as a child.
