Obviously for me there has to be rain.  

I wonder if they will tease almost kisses in IX, thinking back to TLJ, the elevator scene was as close we had got to an almost kiss like feeling. When Rey stepped into Kylo's personal space, this is what happens when someone is about to kiss.
I for one like almost kisses, as it builds up for me the anticipation when there is finally a kiss!

I love your ideas !!! For me a kiss (or more kisses) must be there. I think Adam's audition was based on his puppy eyes and passionate lips.
The kiss should be epic like this trilogy.
Why renounce to hands contact ?.
He always wears gloves, he takes them off just to touch Rey.
At this point I hope, he remove both of them, touch Rey's hand and fall into a vortex of passion kissing each other.
