"The only Skywalker left (that we know of) is Kylo Ren." Well, I'm thrilled that there are a few fans out there like James Dyer who have figured that out, but I guess Leia hacked the Skywalker half of her genes out of her DNA at some point?

JJ says the title isn't misleading. Meaning it's not supposed to make people ask questions. Like, what if the Skywalker were the characters you were already told were Skywalkers across multiple movies? Wild concept. I suppose you could expand it to Rey... because she could be a Skywalker by the end too!

My sister who in TFA disliked Kylo very much for obvious reasons as she loved Han and Leia. She just could not understand why he is that way and now she loves him. She even puts him above some of the PT and OT classic characters.

Sleemo found a picture with Terrio in it at Celebration. Anyone wonder why we only have like one quote from him thus far, from before Celebration at that? Or why he wasn't more clearly part of the press coverage? People keep invoking his name, it's not like he's been removed from the project, but it's a little odd how absent he's been thus far.

One thing I've yet to see anybody mention in coverage - the actual story behind Argo happened two years after the original movie came out and they were pretending to scout for a location for a knock off of Star Wars. Like that in itself is a hilarious detail given Terrio's involvement but nerds are too busy d**k measuring over who can sh*tpost the best about a comic book movie because there's more social capital to be had. If he's smart, he probably negotiated not having to deal with the media under the terms of whatever he's doing for the screenplay.  Because nerds immediately started wailing about Jack Thorne destroying their childhood because something something Harry Potter and now it's moaning about OMG terrible superhero movie. Which uh, not all of us fans pay attention or give a sh*t about that type of thing and Argo is likely better benchmark of what his input is for TROS. Oh except, you know, asking people who've invested their intellectual investment and identities into exploring the story around the Iranian Revolution and US Embassy Hostage crisis is probably too much because there's nobody on Reddit is going to argue with you about that.









What I do expect given what we know is that they'll have parallel "assessing the larger threat and gathering of the allies" plotlines switching between the Resistance (primarily led by Poe) and whatever Kylo's up to on the First Order side which have escalating levels of tension like the story in Argo about the operatives trying to pull a heist to get the diplomats out under the guise of being a film crew. . Anyways, I'd expect something along the lines of these scenes and tension. And there's no f**king way that they don't have input from other people involved in the Saga films, especially Kasdan, in the story and script. If she'd survived, Carrie would've continued to have played a role as the script editor (fingers crossed whatever she discussed with JJ and Rian is part of the final product). Also they've said mentioned Lawrence of Arabia and Raiders of the Lost Ark how many times now? Just KK's favorite movie and the first movie she produced? I'd guess sweeping epic adventure with some of the tension/politicking behind a heist as shown in Argo as what they're attempting for TROS

I believe Corseque created this video, which she shared on Twitter - it's phenomenal - "Joseph Campbell on the mythological meaning of bullfighting/bull leaping, and sacred marriage to dangerous animals (Reylo)" - the prominent scene of TROS teaser trailer, of Rey vaulting, is a parallel of bull leaping.

I am continuously falling in intellectual love with Reylo metas (video and composed). In her tumblr, and an added twitter thread, she includes kudos to @ashesforfoxes who first tweeted the correlation.

I get the impression the VF coverage will be Galaxy's Edge-centric, given that Scrietta was liking a bunch of replies asking him if it was in fact for GE. The invitation-only premiere was last night. CT from Who Talks First was there, Jenny Nicholson too. It officially opens next Friday. So I expect that to either come out before or alongside the TROS stuff. While the exclusive, high quality merch is incredible expensive, people are raving about the new land.
