Everything you said is so right on it is not funny.. DLF will try to recontextualize all of foreshadowing post TROS.. I won't be around for any of it.. I am done and done... it's a new year and a new decade... and the great thing is letting go allows us to bring in something new...

Love all that you have contributed over the years..will miss all the friends that I have made along the way...

I’ve had fun these past several years with you all. It’s been a blast friends. Like you, I’m done though. This long game, constipated storytelling is getting frustrating. I know they are not done with Rey’s story because we have more questions than answers. The ending to the trilogy seems like such a cluster f@*k! I’ll reserve final judgment for when I go see it on Sunday. At least I have the Clone Wars and the Mandalorian to look forward to. Thank God, or whatever higher power, that Dave Filoni is at the helm on those shows.

Anyways, I love you all! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

God this could have been such beautiful Reylo had the force awakens themes and character paths been kept and not allowed to change.

The shameless desperate last minute pimping of rey kenobi (that jedi mind trick)scene to get you in the seats just does it for me...wtf JJ? Appalling thing to do. Also the sympathetic kylo scene pimping because the Trio as well as Rey You Know who
..FAILS..its like they realised 2 days before the movie..."oh s*** people are not buying tickets we should have stuck with the original idea, better lie and sell it as that to get their asses in seats"

According to some comments on YouTube tickets aren't selling well, but that might not be legit.
I will say - when I went to the cinema there were a number of kids there but they were going to see Jumanji Two.
One did tell me they were seeing TROS later however.
Let's hope they don't get depressed.

@motherofpearl1 There definitely wasn't the frenzy of fans outside, in costume and stuff, like for the last two movies.

I guess it's to be expected. I think a documentary will come out about the chaotic and hodgepodge way this whole thing came together. In retrospect I think the "Let's have 3 different people do the three different movies" didn't work out so well. It was an interesting experiment though.

One of my biggest beefs - did we really need that much Poe?
If Rey was the Mary Sue of this trilogy then Poe was it's male counterparts.
