My list, when I post it won't include anyone from the EU because I've only even seen the films.  But I'm not stopping you from including EU characters.  These are your lists.

Maybe in a few weeks I will do a points system and then give you a compiled list - we'll see.

I disliked the PT so much (damn Anakin) so difficult to name any PT character and I don't watch Clone Wars. I am surprised I got to 20.

Apart from Kylo (like this was not obvious already), I don't have too much emotional attachment to the new characters. BB-8 had to be in the Top 10 though because he's so damn cute. I think this will change after VIII.

Thank you for including the poll, @Rogue Rey. Very interesting results so far. I knew Kylo Ren would be the favorite, but I really didn't expect Darth Vader to be so far behind. Obviously I am one of the two who voted for him, lol. Where my Darth-Vader-loving homie at? Is that you, @Darth_Awakened?? XD
