Four times so far. Last time I saw it in IMAX and now I can't go back to the normal screen for more viewings. Will probably see it again in IMAX two or three times, but I need to space them apart because $$$.

Four times for me and last time at an IMAX for me too. I’ll most likely try to see it once more on IMAX if I can but it’s a trek for me

I had chances to go last week and this week and I took them I do not get to see adult(ish) movies in theater often these days (years! ), so I'm really soaking this one in. Escapism at it's finest!

Are your kids old enough to be dropped off at "Parent Night Out" type things? We've started using them in the past year, and they have been a godsend for my husband and I for finally being able to watch "grown up" movies again in the theatre. Much, much less expensive than a babysitter, and the kid(s) have more fun. It's a win-win.

6 times and I intend to go this WE. It did help that a local cinema was showing it in 2D OV so I went 4 times there to get my share of sharp details that my brain does not manage to get with 3D. This week-end will have to be in 3D OV though because 2D OV is no longer showing   and I ain’t watching it in German. I definitively broke my personal record of 4 times for TFA, Mad Max Fury Road and Titanic and I can’t believe I continue to go watch a movie that breaks my heart. JJ, you better mend it with IX.

We are going to the RPX theater again this weekend. I wonder how that compares with IMAX. I'll research and update. I don't like 3D; it tends to give me a headache.

Edit: aspect ratio is the key difference. RPX has nicer seats and better sound than standard showings. I saw TFA in IMAX 3D, but the 3D was so distracting that I didn't really appreciate the IMAX. Since then, I've stuck with RPX for films that matter.

Yes, my youngest just turned three. The gym that they go to for swim lessons has a parents night out once a month, but it’s $45 for the two kids from 6:00-10:00. Add $20 for movie tickets, that’s a $65 movie   Are there cheaper places or is this the norm? I don’t trust sitters other than family, but don’t like to ask my parents too often since they both work full time and spend a lot of free time with us on the weekends anyway...

I have three young ones, and it's an incredible challenge to find the money for a date night. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and we've been on maybe 7 dates in that entire time.
It's not healthy.
But I hate to ask my parents as well! They live 30 minutes away, work full-time, the whole nine yards. Gah. When the oldest is in town, we sometimes rope him into making certain that no one gets hurt.
Adulting is hard.
I'll stop whinging now.

Date nights are much needed, but finding trustworthy childcare is tricky and/or expensive, and most of the time, we decide it’s not worth it Adulting is indeed hard.

My husband has stayed home with sleeping kids two nights while I snuck out to see TLJ by myself. He jokes that I’m going to meet my boyfriend at the theater, because he thinks going to a movie alone is strange, lol. I enjoy it.

My husband usually goes to work out before work and when I'm off I like to make him lunches before he leaves. One day, about a week after we saw TLJ, I asked him if he was going to work out (so I knew when to make him lunch) and he was like "what, you're so eager to get me out of the house? Is Kylo Ren coming over?"

I've seen the movie three times. I want to go a fourth time, but I'll probably have to go myself. I've never been to the movies alone before, but hearing some you guys talking about going alone encourages me to give it a try.

I've seen it five times so far and I'll probably see it at least once more before it leaves theaters.  I feel like I'm still trying to process it.

@IoJovi @Kessel - Most of my in-theater movie viewing experiences are solo because getting any of my friends to commit to hanging out is like pulling teeth (flaky Californians). Although what I've learned from doing things like that or going on trips by myself is that the upside is getting to be 100% selfish about doing what I want when I want.

That's to funny about your husband I was out drinking with a few friends recently and me and one of my girlfriends started talking about Reylo as well as Kylo and his shirtless scene lol. To make a long story short one of our highly intoxicated guy friends started yelling at us. Saying he hoped Kylo died in some horrible way. I was like whoa dude calm down.

@kessel, I’ve found that going alone is actually kind of liberating. Now I don’t go alone on traditional date nights, but a matinee? Heck yeah!
