But if the Duel of the Fates song merging into Rey's theme rumor is true with the trailer...then...ZOMG

If Leia's blue saber in the trailer is Obi Wans lost saber..then ZOMG..my Obi Wan saber theory flashbacks a comin!

IF the leaks are true and if somehow Maul is indeed connected to Rey and Qi'Ra….

Then JJ has been hinting at it from day dot. The hint is even used on the banner of this forum lol. Maul's saber hilt has always been attached to her staff. Where the heck did she get that?

The Visual Dictionary says "no", or rather doesn't say "yes".

She did scavenge the quarterstaff but it seems to be a regular normal one, NOT lightsabers - at least I'm pretty sure that if it was, it would have been stated in the Dictionary or the film or the novelization.

@nickandnora The antis have been comparing us to rats and calling us ‘ratlos’. Do you have a Twitter stan account or use any for fandom stuff? The term is widely used there and I’ve even seen reylos adopting it.

@rey09 She claims to have some connections and also to know JediPaxis real identity (regarding his leaks, she said only a few pieces are truly legit, the rest is either without context that would otherwise change our perception or completely made up; she claims he’s not into Reylo). She tweets vague hints rather than actual leaks, recently something about the sun and previously the one with red string - if it’s featured more in the marketing, or appears in the trailer etc., I guess it’d give her quite a bit of credibility.

lol ! One thing is for sure if it is this Monday 14th the game is lions vs packers so with Rey’s connection to Leo and possibly Kenobi( fingers crossed ) it would be cool Very Happy

I have been speculating the rat at the end of the tweet above - could be street rat ie Kira, Han or Ezra , desert rat - rey and obi wan or ... scroundrel . So who is the scroundrel ? Han ? Or Ben like his father before him? Lol!

In the smaller picture, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will bring to an end the trilogy J.J. Abrams set off in 2015’s The Force Awakens. But of course, in the bigger picture, the film will also close out the Skywalker saga that the Star Wars franchise has revolved around for over 40 years.

This historic occasion may be our last chance to see some of our favorite characters on the big screen – especially the older ones. But the news may not be all bad, folks.

According to sources close to We Got This Covered – the same ones who told us back in May about Ewan McGregor’s return as Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as Palpatine’s connection to an important character in the upcoming film, which has since been confirmed by Making Star Wars – Disney and Lucasfilm are in the early stages of developing a solo project that’ll revolve around Rey, the Jakku scavenger and rising Jedi played by Daisy Ridley.

The movie will be set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and deal with the aftermath of how that film affects Rey’s lineage. Of course, because we don’t know what’ll happen come December, we can’t speculate on any of those plot details just yet. But we can assume that if a whole film will be dedicated to the character, then things won’t be all bright for Rey.

So, that means Rey's lineage reveal has to be something that will spark enough interest to get butts back in seats for her own film and also generate interest in the Obi Wan mini series...

Would Rey Palpatine be enough to do this?. Is Rey Palaptine a cash cow? Is it a reveal that will generate an eager anticipation to get people to watch the Obi Wan series or the Rey film?...

There would also, IMO, be no need to do this with Rey if she is indeed a Palpatine and it is revealed at the beginning (as the spoilers suggest) beause it will be explained within the film itself and she can come to terms with it on screen.

Reys lineage appears to be something that needs more explanation for sure. The answer we seem to be getting to explain it? An Obi Wan series and Rey film? for Rey Palpatine?....not adding up..
