Dear all, we have an ad-block tool in place that should protect the forum from spam/ads appearing while you're browsing in PC/Mac or mobile devices. If you encounter any ads please take a moment to take a screenshot and either post it here or send it to any of the staff so that we can investigate, as that should not be occurring.

Uh-oh. I'm getting the emoticon panel as usual when composing PMs. You might want to try opening your PM editor on another device? Were you on iPad when this happened?

Is there a way to delete a post you yourself made? I had some technical issues on my phone earlier today and it did a double post with the same message and I don't mean to clog up the thread.

@SheLitAFire, you cannot delete your post, but you can edit the content and leave a "duplicate" or "please delete" note for a mod. You can also ask one of the mods to delete it for you. I'd be happy to do it if you indicate which one it is.

Anyone else having issues with the forum on phone/mobile? It's gone to a weird format on mine under desktop version.

It happens sometimes on my mobile..
Try to look at right upper corner: there's possibility to change the weird format to "classic verison" (or something similar - I'am not on the mobile now so I can't check it for you.

I'm getting a banner ad for a new forum app when I log in on mobile as of today. We have an ad blocker so it shouldn't be happening. We will look into it and give an update later today. Thanks!

Yeah I'm getting a weird setup on my phone & had large ads at the top since yesterday.

Ugh. It turns out the glitches are due to a new "enhancement" by our platform, Forumotion. They've rolled out their mobile forum app (see below) and now navigation on mobile is screwed up without the app - hopefully temporarily. They said everything is still in beta, so I'm hoping the formatting glitch will be fixed without needing to download the app. Waiting to hear back.

The site is intermittently having problems loading, probably because of excessive traffic. The Last Jedi trailer broke the forum! Temporarily.
We are looking into it, hang in there.

You are not doing anything wrong - if you got a notification that you received a PM but there is nothing in your inbox it may have been deleted by the sender before you got a chance to read it - PMs can be modified/deleted before they are read. I'd suggest checking with the sender.

When this happens, the threads and sub-forums everyone is trying to access at once are the slowest to load, so it helps to go to a less congested thread and post there for a bit. We'll put out reminders before TLJ comes out for us plebs to see. (Can you tell I'm bitter I didn't get to see it today?? XD)

We are getting swamped with new registrations since even before TLJ got released.

We are staggering the process of authentication/activation. We welcome growth but we also have to make sure that the massive influx of new accounts doesn't throw things out of whack here.

We also have to authenticate accounts before they are activated because we are not looking to become a general Star Wars forum.
