Update on John Williams: He's recovering, though it's still not been said what his illness was, and will be going back to LA soon.

Rian posted this earlier today. This is the noir movie with Daniel Craig. That was fast. And to think until 6-7 months ago he was in full TLJ press train mode. I thought I had heard he was doing this before his SW series. So I'm guessing it will be a bit before we see his trilogy. LF and Disney seem to have been emphasizing the GoT guys' series as beginning first, as GoT ends next year.

As for the GoT guys' series first...mmm...I feel as though, and I may be overthinking what was released not long ago about KK's words, yet it seems as though the live action focus now is the Mandalorian (and indeed, IX), and everything else is on pause. Definitely will welcome the official announcements about the release dates! I do believe that Rian's trilogy, and the GoT guys' films will still occur, but I wonder if they were pushed back, especially because it seemed Knives Out jumped to prominence on his schedule. (the why for all of this, I suppose Solo's box office performance caused them to decrease their speed. They were originally enjoying the road trip at 100mph, got the ticket, and are now 10 mph over the speed limit. lol)

Kylo Ren comics ahoy. Given that these are the SW Adventures comics for kids (where these bits are featured), I'm not sure how dark they can go, but apparently they've cut him out of featuring in earlier issues to save him for something "special."

More Rey comics too.

Very cool, and I believe - the selections are very telling.

I know the ultimate is the Art Show...when the official artwork is announced (I think late Feb/early March) based on that, they will be extremely telling.

Also not strictly social media (and maybe not strictly SW either), but in general news, JJ, after laying kind of low for a couple of years, is now prepared to take on (or take over) the world. His film deal with Paramount and TV one with Warner are up in not too long. Disney, Universal, and Warner, the companies with the most cash and stability, are competing to see which one can bid the most money for a multi-media deal with JJ. The article notes only Spielberg has a deal quite like this. Bad Robot could turn from the mini-empire it already is into an even bigger juggernaut. Their stuff generally does very well (especially with that SW $$$), and JJ from all accounts is very easy to work with. Yet another industry-spanning content war begins.

I just saw this on Johns IG stories - could it mean that they’ve finished filming ?

Filming is supposed to go all the way to January, so this is most likely just celebration of the end of Jordan shoot.

Yeah, that's probably it. Filming is until Jan-Feb from what I heard, and Adam and Daisy are not even there. They might be filming together again end of November or December.

So, then, perhaps it was a particularly difficult sequence/scene that they'd filmed that John was referring to with "we smashed it"?

Or perhaps they've finished filming, but John is simply sticking around Jordan for another day or two before flying out?

I'll post this with the very big grain of salt that this is the film critic both for the AV Club and Vox who's managed to get quoted in Rey's Wikipedia entry that she could be Luke's daughter and that Ben can't be trusted to tell the truth to her about her parents. But it caught my attention (besides my perpetual loathing of For Better or for Worse because Elizabeth deserved better than Anthony and his horrible mustache) because of the 2nd question and its answers. It's specifically one element in the ST which is why I've been interested in SW since the Special Edition changes and TPM chased me away
