Latest episode of The Star Wars Show, which Andi and Anthony visit  the display cabinets at Lucasfilm HQ, and lookie, lookie, a close up of the broken laser sword in TLJ. I know that it was questioned on whether or not if the crystal was split in half, so here is the evidence in that.

I have seen this reigniting the speculation that Rey will make a double-bladed saber-staff but she would need two whole kyber crystals for that. Darth Maul’s staff had two kyber crystals - one for each blade. Rey would have to heal the broken crystal and find another whole one to make such a weapon. Maybe Luke’s green lightsaber is still around somewhere because then she’d have two.

I believe it was hinted in some capacity that the fish nuns stored a few of Luke's things away, similar to past visitors of the planet, but I would personally find it cool, if Rey does ends up going down the path of studying the jedi-way, putting her own spin to the methods, and finds her own crystal/s(in the Unknown Regions, perhaps?) to form her own weapon. Maybe it would be more interesting if the broken crystal is meshed with Kylo/Ben's crystal, if Kylo/Ben fixes/adapts his weapon.

Luke’s lightsaber could still be on Ahch-To then. I did wonder if he might have thrown it into the sea, like he attempted to do with Anakin’s. That’s where his X-Wing ended up!

I have wondered if Rey might end up (as IX concludes) with double-blades with one powered by the kyber crystal from Anakin’s lightsaber and one powered by the crystal from Kylo’s lightsaber. Both crystals having been healed from their splitting and cracking. It would be something having a new Jedi going forward with a weapon powered by crystals that were used to end two previous Jedi orders.

I could be wrong but as John pans over to Oscar playing Street Fighter in their trailer there’s a glimpse of the landscape in this IG story. Then it’s the landscape again towards sunset in the next story.

  that Rey finds a kyber crystal? not many but everything is possible , it is very likely that she returns to the island and finds Luke's lightsaber, or she can repair Anakin's, but she will have a broken crystal, like that of Kylo Ren

This past weekend, I constructed my Ahch-to lego set, with my little one, and to me it looks like there was suppose to be crystals in that stone that Rey sliced in half whilst "training", so I also feel like we will see this planet again and maybe Rey potentially building her own lightsaber. Don't think Lego is really that canon BUT maybe could be a hint of sorts?

The cast and crew seem to have returned back to the UK a few days ago. Victoria Mahoney tweeted a picture and captioned it 'Bond Street/London' a few days ago. Joonas Suotamo and his wife left Jordan on Nov 13 and are now back in London according to his wife's Instagram. I think the Jordan shoot may have finished.
