While it's very easy for me to imagine scenarios about how Rey ends up with that ring, especially if it's a fairy tale type motif like pricking your finger on a spinning wheel, my brain is also "how in the heck did she get that outfit and saber?!" She's been shown running around for an entire movie in rags and then you assume that Leia has gifted her a couple very basic change of clothing (though that second pair of boots for date night on the Supremacy was the high dollar item). Like I'm not really interested, bored actually, in speculating whether it's real or a vision because it's about all the dark emotions and pain she's had to bottle up inside of herself in order to survive being abandoned by her parents. But the whole "how does she get that outfit and when does she change into it?!" question is what I really can't stop thinking about.

I pre-ordered in UK. There it says available begin of 2020.

Some think the shot of the black hooded figure in the trailer is dark!Rey. I'd kind of love that. They've been so cagey about Palpatine, I'm not confident they even showed him on screen yet, or if he's even physically embodied.

I personally think it's a vision of a possible future, so I don't think we'll even get those questions answered in the film, unfortunately.
