Yep, and that's what we've speculated was Kylo's plot for a while now - he has to choose between power and stopping her from falling into Palps' trap. His choice seems to be largely made by the time the death star fight goes down.

I'm still holding out hope that Palp is lying to both her and kylo about her lineage. The fact he is whispering in her ear indicates its lies and manipulation to make her turn dark. Weakness used against her.

Pablo is very known for his dramatic tone. Totally his voice, haha.

Kylo willingly being a henchmen never made sense, so I’m glad that’s confirmed.

The most interesting part of all of this to me is the phrase “prophesied dyad.” Is this saying there was a prophesy about the two of them, or just that the concept of a dyad in general was a prophesy? Either way, that brings up a lot of questions. The only other SW prophesy I know of is The Chosen One prophesy from the PT.

Confirms that JP got motivations wrong (on purpose or not?), but not the plot points.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Like, the VD is always full of random details that are just there for fun and they don't tell the plot of the film. There are always hints, but neither of the other VDs gave away crucial plot points that weren't direct set-up like the Force Bond. I think she's likely just not taking that into full consideration.

The leaks drama behind all this is better than any movie could possibly hope to be

The fact they wont leak more, means there is probably some bigger things that are not matching the leaks.

Since its the final dictionary, scheduled to come out after the movie?, It may have more detail in it about characters and situations  than previous ones which were vague?

She is implying that she has some secret pages where Pablo typed that JP is a liar but of course we can't share them, only pages that support leaks. Though they think that Mustafar debunks leaks.

Remember when in TLJ dictionary Luke was prepairing to suicide ritual until Rey found him. OMG, Rian Johnson is a liar, it wasn't in the movie.

I hope for the sake of these people that leaks are truly false because we will survive but I don't know what they will do otherwise with such commitment to debunking it.

Okay.. just got back from knives out... a professionally rendered movie, funny in places, smart, checkov's gun.. checked and rechecked

But as a fan of murder mysteries.. ala Miss Marple, Poirot, this movie was lacking.. went for subversion over the slow reveal.. then devolved into political satire


Aha.. but the point of the movie .. wait for it...

I’m not seeing anything disproving the plot aspect of the leaks either, just filling in info or plot gaps and correcting mischaracterizations. It’s possible something big is revealed in the VD like the Force Bond in TLJ’s VD, but generally the VDs are more context and lesser spoilers than huge plot details. The latter is more true of the “Art of” books that Disney puts out.

@rawpowah IA that the motivations are screwed up. They always read to me like a Kylo hater’s fantasy, not unlike some of the TLJ leaks.
