Also, it sounds like Han does slow play Lando for the Falcon. Losing the first game and fixing the second. The golden dice are weighted. Han’s been pulling scams and been around scammers since childhood. Never tell Han the odds of a dice roll!
Only people who die in this movie are Val, Jon Favreau's character, and Vos according to the guy on reddit who's seen it. Qi'ra and Han team up to take down Vos, then Han wants to run off and start a life together with Qi'ra but Qi'ra declines and takes over Vos' former position as crime boss.

Dammit, why did I read these spoilers? I would have liked to be surprised with some of this stuff. I guess I was afraid of being in a state of shock after my unspoiled TLJ experience. I'm going to try to not read anymore, but I must admit that I wouldn't mind knowing in general terms of some Ben Solo parallels.

- The major spoilers: Val dies by blowing herself up during the train heist. Enfys Nest is a young woman who is not actually evil and is sympathetic to the rebels. The confrontation with the Cloud Riders does not end in a shoot-out. Beckett betrays Han to Dryden Vos. Qi’ra is working for Maul. Her fate wasn’t really mentioned by the guy. I might have missed something he said. And Han kills Beckett Greedo-style.

Here is a complete breakdown of the film from Reddit
- Spoiler:
* Film starts with text, not really a crawl
* Han and Qi'ra are trying to leave Corellia. They are boyfriend and girlfriend, and they kiss.
* They try to bribe an Imperial officer to escape Corellia, they get separated, Qi'ra gets captured by gangsters, Han hides in a recruitment center where he joins the Imperial army to leave Corellia. He says his name is just "Han" and that he's alone...Imperial guard gives him the last name "Solo"
* 3 years later
* Han is fighting on Mimban. He sees Beckett and his team including Val and Rio Durant. They are disguised as Imperial troops, but aren't fighting. Han tries to tell on them because they won't let him join their crew, but Beckett rats Han out first, saying that Han is trying to desert the Empire.
* Han gets thrown into a prisoner camp, where Chewie is. They escape. Beckett's crew sees this and they decide to "rescue" Han and Chewie and let them be part of their crew
* They try to steal fuel cells from a train from the trailer. Enfys Nest and the Cloud Raiders are also there, trying to steal it. Val sacrifices herself. Rio Durant, who is the pilot, also dies.
* Now Han must pilot the ship (not the Falcon) He drops the fuel cells and they blow up.
* Han, Chewie, and Beckett now go to Dryden Voss' hangout. He is the gangster they are trying to sell fuel cells too. Beckett comes up with a new plan, saying that there is some on Kessel.
* Qi'ra is now Dryden's girlfriend. She tells them that she knows Lando has a fast ship they can use.
* Han, Chewie, Beckett, Qi'ra go see Lando.
* Han plays sabacc with Lando to win the Falcon. Han loses because Lando cheats, Han knows he cheats, but can't prove it.
* Lando and L3 fly the Falcon with the crew to Kessel. Han and Qi'ra have another moment alone, they kiss again.
* L3 tries to save robot prisoners, but gets shot and teared in half
* Chewie tries to free Wookies. Doesn't seem like he knows them.
* The crew escapes Kessel with the fuel cells. Han must fly the Falcon now, because Lando is sad L3 is basically dead. They use L3's "brain" to help navigate through a black hole and the tentacle monster from the trailer
* The fuel cells from Kessel are unstable, so they have to go to a new planet to make them stable some how. Enfys Nest and her gang are there. Turns out she is a 16 year old girl and they are trying to help some "rebellion" and needs the fuel.
* Not clear if Han and the gang give them some or what, doesn't seem like any Cloud Raiders die
* Lando flies away with the Falcon.
* Han, Chewie, Qi'ra, go back to Dryden Voss. Beckett stays behind for some reason, it sounds like he thinks Dryden Voss may kill him.
* It turns out Beckett double crosses Han and tells Dryden Voss that the fuel cells are fake (even though they are real)
* Han, Qi'ra, and Chewie fight Dryden Voss and his guards. Voss and his guards die.
* Han goes after Beckett for revenge. Qi'ra stays behind, using a hologram message to speak with her actual gangster boss: Darth Maul
* Darth Maul is a crime lord now. Ray Park is the actor, but they use Sam Witwer's voice
* It sounds like Maul is only in hologram form and is in the movie for less than a minute.
* This is the last mention of Qi'ra. It is unclears what happens to her
* Beckett tries to talk his way out of trouble with Han, but Han shoots first and kills Beckett
* The movie ends with Han and Chewie going to a new planet to find Lando.
* Han hugs Lando, similarly to how Lando hugs Han in ESB. While hugging, Han steals Lando's cheat card he kept in his sleeve.
* Han goes all in on his sabacc hand, winning Lando's Falcon
* Han and Chewie fly the Falcon, stating they need to go to Tattoine to meet a "big time gangster" presumably Jabba the Hutt, although Jabba is not mentioned by name

So from the spoilers, if they're legit
- Spoiler:
1. Han regards Beckett as a father figure and in the end, he betrays Han and Han in turn kills him as part of learning the "always shoot first" code of survival. Because "everybody you trust will betray you in the end." Beckett as the closest he had to a father figure also sets up his anxieties/insecurity about being a father given the Last Shot quote from Leia that he didn't have the greatest of examples to learn from.
2. Lines up with Han warning Ben that Snoke is using him and will dispose of him when he doesn't need him, which sounds like what Beckett tried on him. Which Ben ends up taking out Snoke the same way, though with no hesitation. It was kill or be killed in the end, as well as protecting Rey from Snoke.
3. They've outright said that Han trying to get Rey to join him and Chewie because he sees something of himself in her is because he sees her on the run from larger forces like he was and wants to help. Like underlies how underneath his exterior and own issues, he's an empathetic person at heart.
4. That bit with Qi'ra makes it sound straight out of Slumdog Millionaire

@ZioRen I googled the actress supposedly playing her. She has no resemblance whatsoever to Daisy and, based on the movie, doesn't seem like a filthy junk trader who would sell her daughter off for drinking money. So still no lol.
They'll probably be busy claiming Han hooked up with Qi'Ra on the side and she gave birth to Rey based on how their romance is portrayed.
Btw, one of the podcaster from Knights of Rant saw the movie and the reviews are not glowing.

Kasdan is not going include Mara Jade in anything. She played no part in anything Kasdan wanted to write for the saga. Luke went into exile with Vader in his version. That's not a set-up that some hot redhead gets in the middle of. It's more Frodo and Gollum.

Hey all have been reading all your comments and spoilers. I am still looking forward to seeing it on 24th ( booked my tickets ) but the parallels between Ben and Han are now even clearer. When snoke said to Ben you have your father’s heart he really was right at how similar their young lives were . Like son like father and am still excited about enfys nest as she looks cool and bad*** ( whatever her role ). Am staying positive and hopeful this will be good . ( am just hyped because it’s another Star Wars film lol!).

Early reception seems mixed. Some people adore it, others are disappointed. I doubt people will get as angry as they did over TLJ because expectations for TLJ were SO absurdly high, and also absurdly unrealistic and disconnected from the story.
Like RO, it's a prequel, so I don't think many people will be as shocked or appalled by the films when we know how some of these characters end up already. The #notmyhansolo people will rage, but I don't think the fallout will be as nasty as it was for TLJ when there were so few expectations for this movie to begin with.

This synopsis has some details that previous long one didn't include. Not a big difference, just made some things clearer:

n Corellia, Han (Alden Ehrenreich) and Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke) steal a fuel pod to bribe their way into an Imperial transport and escape from mobsters to whom they are indebted. Qi’ra is captured, and Han is forced to enlist in the Imperial Academy to escape. He is determined to return to Corellia to rescue Qi’ra. The recruiter names him “Han Solo”.
Three years later, Han is stationed in Mimban, where he meets a group of criminals led by Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), who are masquerading as Imperial officers to steal fuel pods. Han wants to join them, but they frame him for attempted desertion, and he is arrested. In prison, Han befriends Chewbacca and they escape together and are recruited by Beckett.
Beckett and his crew attempt to steal the fuel pods from a train, but are ambushed by Enfys Nest and the Cloud Riders. Everyone dies aside from Han, Chewbacca and Beckett, and Han loses the fuel pods. Beckett is indebted to “a gangster from Tatooine” and approaches Corellian mobster Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany) for a loan. Vos agrees in exchange for Beckett stealing the unstable fuel source from Kessel. Han reunites with Qi’ra, who is now Vos’ lover. She joins the crew as Vos’ representative.
Han meets smuggler Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) and his droid companion L3-37 (Phoebe Waller Bridge), and gambles with Lando for the Millennium Falcon. Lando wins by cheating, but later joins the crew in exchange for a cut of Vos’ profits. They reach Kessel by performing the perilous Kessel Run, and retrieve the fuel source from Empire-controlled underground mines, filled with enslaved Wookies and droids. Chewbacca and L3-37 lead an uprising, resulting in a massive shootout with Imperial forces, during which L3-37 is destroyed and Lando is injured. Han and Chewbacca pilot with Millennium Falcon, performing the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs, and escape from the Empire.
The crew goes to a refinery in Saraven to process the fuel source into fuel pods, where they are once again confronted by the Cloud Riders. Lando escapes in the Millennium Falcon. The Cloud Riders are freedom fighters who want to prevent the fuel from falling into the hands of the organized crime. Han and Qi’ra sympathize with them and conspire to deliver fake fuel pods to Vos. Beckett fakes his death and leaves.
Han and Qi’ra reunite with Vos, only to learn that Beckett has betrayed them and informed Vos of their plan in exchange for the money. Beckett escapes, while Han and Qi’ra kill Vos and his men. Han chases Beckett back to Saraven, but Qi’ra refuses to follow him because she has “done too much to go back”. After he leaves, she reports to her real employer - Darth Maul.
In Saraven, Han and Beckett get into a standoff. Han shoots first, killing Beckett. Han leaves the fuel with the Cloud Riders, who give them to the Rebel Alliance. He then tracks down Lando and challenges him to a rematch. Han steals Lando’s cheat card and wins the Millennium Falcon in a fair game. Han and Chewbacca then decide to go to Tatooine to meet the gangster that Beckett was indebted to, who has a job offer for them.
