This is what I was talking about when I said that Mark had something up that made Luke look like an Al Qaeda member.

This may be jarring to some, but the thing is, the Skywalkers are extreme people. It is all over the new canon. No Skywalker deals with anything in a lukewarm way, including Leia who said she would "burn the galaxy if she thought it was right." I mean Jesus!

There is also a pretty decent strain of mental instability in the Skywalker men (See Anakin and Kylo). Why would Luke be immune to this when they have already shown extreme behavior/thinking on his part in (1) jilting Leia when she was pregnant, (2) fervently believing that Vader and Anakin are two separate people, (3) not facing his sister and best friend when their son fell, and (4) looking like a demented old man when he talks about being afraid if the raw powah. (My late father had brain damage and stroke induced dementia. Mark is playing Luke with that slightly crazy wild-eyed look in that scene).

It doesn't mean Luke is damned forever or anything, this extreme and instability angle just adds more evidence to the idea that Luke will have a serious problem.

I figured out why Porgs are Porgs. Porgatory. Luke is stuck in Porgatory. It's like Snoke = Snake. They insert "o" into words to make them sound slightly different than the original word but there's a clear pattern.

Mark really knows how to rustle some jimmies! hahahah. Yeah, Luke did kill a hundred thousand workers on that Death Star. People who just wanted to make a living for their own families.

But seriously speaking, I think Luke is the antagonist for TLJ but not necessarily a villain.

I’m thinking Luke has gone super Lightside, in probably the worst way possible. Like that clergyman at bible study who thinks it’s his way or the highway. He’ll be a direct contrast to Ben, and we’ll know neither one of them are in the right. It’ll be up to Rey to bring the balance. It’s even hinted at on the teaser poster where she will finally bring the two together to see eye to eye..

The first one is about Kylo’s inner journey. I don’t like the title, but the article itself is not bad. It’s always nice to see that other people actually pay attention to Kylo’s conflict.

SR has a bit of an inner conflict within their team maybe, because they previously had some not so Reylo friendly views. Different writers, different opinions. But I suppose it's to keep an open mind to all possibilities.

It's great that they aren't denying the possibilities of Reylo too, and their articles are becoming more timely now thanks to the trailer.

I'll be keeping an eye on SR after TLJ, maybe they'll have some really nice movie analysis and reviews.

It could also be a case of closeted Reylos... like, you wouldn't believe the number of people from the Phantom of the Opera fandom (because, not to brag, but I was a medium-biggish POTO blog back in the days) who came out after the trailer and said: "Welp, I ship Reylo, I'm not afraid of saying it anymore, deal with it."
