Theatrical poster discussion - The Last Jedi

@ISeeanIsland - A ha! the teasers they've shown so far say "Film not rated yet," so that's odd because clearly MPAA already assigned it a rating. Like I've said, best guess is that it'll be for violence related to whatever happens at Uncle Luke's Bible Camp. Unless we do get some sexy times, like Snoke in his robe (j/k!). And I know some of us have had this discussion before about seeing the OT as a kid, when PG-13 didn't exist. But anything so far in the ST can't be nearly as bad as somebody getting their hand cut off by their own parent.

It's the red one with Kylo and Rey the same size and parallel with their backs to each other. I can't say I love it as much as the teaser but it still looks great, no doubt about that.

Luke has the biggest head, and there's no Snoke. Interesting.

I love Leia in this.

It's ok, not anywhere as striking as the teaser poster IMO. Just your usual collection of heads.

Same. It's definitely... not dazzled me as much as the teaser one did. That hyped me up so much! This one just doesn't... I love Leia on it. I love her haunting stare but I really don't like how small Rose is. I think that's my biggest issue with it. I don't like how small she is considering how big her role is supposed to be.

But one thing this poster screams to me is how Luke and Leia are positioned as well as the looks on their faces. It suggests to me that they may have conflict between each other and I bet it's a certain other Skywalker.

I love it. I like the colors and Rey and Kylo look great.

@xylo ren I think it looks fanmade cause it's a screenshot in low res. By the way, thanks for posting it @mindandmagic, I saw the poster reveal, but it's good to have it here.

So much red. An unwarned viewer could think it's a horror movie.

I mean, they are "two sides of something", "two halves of the dark and light" and "two halves of our protagonist" soooo...

The poster is exactly what I was expecting, haha. It's definitely one of the ones described by MSW too.

We already largely saw all of these actor photographs individually when they leaked the raw versions. That could be part of the reasons it looks like a mash-up--it is one.
