When I saw Daisy’s haircut I immediately thought Sabine and kanan in Rebels and maybe it will be in an epilogue symbolic of a new start ? Or it could just be that Daisy has cut her hair after filming . Bet she looks lovely though I have no issue with hair length lol if it suits the story and is relevant to it .

My first thought was very short hair like that can maybe make wearing a wig easier...

She has made scenes with her child, that once the filming is over, she is so much down in the part that she does it even in reality

I think that it might be new. His scar is lighter and has moved farther left on his face. In TLJ, the scar went through the inner half of his eyebrow. Now it goes through the outer half of the eyebrow. His shirt looks maroon/burgundy and not black. At the very least it seems markedly different from his cloak. He has some silver thing on his chest. And maybe it's just me, but he seems to look calmer, more settled. In TLJ there was always something a little "hungry" to him most of the time, but now that "ready to pounce"/anger thing seems gone, just like it did at the end of TLJ when he was on his knees in that penitent pose.

I am on my phone so I can't do comparisons here, but I think that there is some difference with this shot of him.

I don't want bored you but....., but I've always had long or very long hair and I want to tell you that there's a moment when a women really think to cut their hair. I cut them after my son was born. It will seem trivial but many mothers cut their hair after giving birth because it is more practical and make the styling more fast. Am I wrong or even Adam cut his hair recently?
It would be nice if the final scene shows us Rey and Ben older with their children in a far far galaxy.

Now you mention it his tunic does look like a deep maroon. His face looks like he’s had a few sessions of yoga - certainly less edgy prone anger vibes

I guess so, but knowing Adam he probably was staying low profile knowing him. In the morning he was doing a photoshoot with his stylist so why wouldn’t he go to the final wrap party? I bet he was there..

Yes! That’s what I thought, she probably cut it the day after wrapping IX and I heard she has to do reshoots for Chaos Walking soon, she wears a blonde wig in that film so that’s probably why.

The tunic under the cape does look maroon.

There is a picture on twitter going around as to what rey could possible look like with short hair - I think it’s lovely - I think she would look lovely ( as someone who has had both short and long hair I would have no issue with it )and could see it as a rite of passage idea like Padawans with their braid and short hair . Am
not saying this is gonna happen but it would be interesting if the short hair is for Episode 9 :

Basically the rules are inspired by oriental philosophy and can be applied in any field, but they are often used to characterize the superheroes. The rules are 7:
1) The law of pure potential that means seeing one's potential. In the case of Ben Solo he knows that he is very powerful in the Force.
2) The law give and take. The universe is based on a dynamic exchange, giving and receiving represent two different aspects of its energy flow. In the case of Ben, I think he must learn to give through Rey.
3) The law of Karma or Cause-Effect.

Yeah it’s the marvel comics - kylo Ren will have a special in age of resistance ( after age of rebellion is done ) and am assuming too he’s also also talking about the Star Wars adventures series which has been hinting for a long time that they are saving Kylo for something special .

I guess we’ll know for sure come the Oscars and whether he has cut his hair short too . lol!Am calling it now - Star Wars episode IX epilogue - Rey and Ben start their new Jedi order and both cut their hair as rite of passage like kanan did in Rebels and Sabine and also because they are two halves of the protagonist??They both had long hair before so will have shorter hair together lol! If you look at Daisy’s haircut from the front it’s similar with long strands at the top. New start , new Jedi , new hair cut . Lol!

Thank you! For a second I thought there’s a new book announced and thought why nobody’s talking about it Regarding haircuts, I feel indifferent about Rey potentially cutting her hair for whatever reason though I don’t see the point (I hope there’ll be no new Jedi order at all ) but I wouldn’t be fond of Kylo cutting his luscious locks.

I was thinking a wig for long haired Rey in an epilogue.. I still hold a little hope for long haired Rey!

I wished that guy was Adam. It would be hilarious, if they both got a haircut after filming was done. But still, the way this guy‘s hair parted isn’t typical for Adam and his ears are missing.

Normally when a woman cuts her hair and there is a boy in the middle is because she wants to change and cut the bad experience, it is a sign of growth and maturation and acceptance

Yes, I’ve seen ‘post-break-up-haircut’ trope many times but then Rey would have to cut her hair either at the beginning of IX (in response to her ‘break-up’ in TLJ) or at the end of the film (due to Kylo screwing up yet again). I guess we all don’t doubt that this time Kylo will make a right decision and for the first idea to work out, IX would need to take place over at least a year (or a time jump would need to happen within a movie) so that Rey’s hair grows back to the new triple bun style. I find both of these scenarios extremely unlikely and hence see no point in Rey cutting her hair .
