Syfo Dias or Dooku deleted Kamino from the Jedi archives... which Imperial deleted Ach To from the Imperial archives?
It was done before R2 tapped into the archives in ANH...
There is a Jedi sympathizer among the Imperials is my guess

Anastasia (the myth/movie) is about a missing Grand Duchess.... Your father has to be a Duke/King to be a Duchess....
The opening scenes on Jakku with Lor & Poe there is a hidden paralell there
She will always be Royalty to me... of course he is talking about Leia, but this is a double entendre about Rey... Yes, Kasdan writes in parallel almost always

Re: ARCHIVE: The Rey Kenobi Files - 1
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LostOrphanedRoyalty
Villains often try to kill off the whole royal line in their attempts to take the throne. This hardly ever works and they really ought to know better, as a Lost Orphaned Royal will surely turn up sooner or later to take it back. That is this trope. If the orphan in question was lost as a baby or Switched at Birth, that is also this trope. If the orphan was sent away by the King and Queen to be raised by simple peasant folk for what doubtless seemed like a very good reason at the time, that is also this trope. If the orphan was accidentally dropped down the laundry chute by an absent-minded cleaning woman and adopted by a pack of Sewer Gators, that is still this trope.
Basically, this trope is when a child raised as an orphan turns out to actually be the next heir to the throne. The orphan may or may not be aware of the situation, and ditto with the reader and the rest of the characters; what matters is that the child was not raised as royalty and was, at some point and by somebody, presumed Lost.
For an interesting spin, the orphan could BE the villain, obsessed with getting the life he or she deserves to have, being the true heir and all...
Often overlaps with or leads to Really Royalty Reveal, Hidden Backup Prince, Man in the Iron Mask and Rightful King Returns. Suddenly Suitable Suitor is a common plot twist.

Re: ARCHIVE: The Rey Kenobi Files - 1
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’ll be the first Snow White to the ball? Three separate studios are currently vying to get their competing Snow White movies to the big screen: Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, Relativity’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and Disney’s Snow and the Seven. And while we’ve heard plenty about the first two, little has been revealed about the Disney project except that it’ll see Snow White in China and the Seven Dwarves as Shaolin Monks.
Now, fresh off an Oscar nomination for Toy Story 3, screenwriter Michael Arndt, who already won as Oscar for writing Little Miss Sunshine, is in negotiations to rewrite the screenplay for Snow and the Seven and Oscar-winning production designer John Myhre has also come aboard to begin working on a look for the film.
Read more about Snow and the Seven and recap all the Snow White projects after the jump.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively broke the news about Snow and the Seven and also provided a little more info on the plot than we previously knew.
The unique project, which Disney has been developing since 2002, centers on a 19th century Englishwoman who returns to her Hong Kong home for her father’s funeral, only to discover that her stepmother is plotting against her. She escapes to mainland China, finding solace among a rogue band of seven international warriors.
Francis Lawrence has long been attached to direct and Arndt will be the fifth person to take a crack at the original script, which was written by Scott Elder and Josh Harmon. Natalie Portman has been mentioned as Snow White, but as she’s pregnant, there’s no word on when she’ll be fit to take on a role like this.
Still, it seems like none of these Snow White projects are coming together easily.
Let’s recap. There are currently three Snow White films in development in Hollywood. We talked about Disney’s Snow and the Seven above. Then there’s Snow White and the Huntsman which is being developed by Universal. Directed by Rupert Sanders, rumors of Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen among others have been floated to star in the story of a huntsman tasked to kill Snow White, who instead joins her to fight against the Queen. Johnny Depp, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy have all been considered too.
Then there’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, being developed by Relativity, and directed by Tarsem Singh. We haven’t heard much about this project, except they’d like Julia Roberts to play the Evil Queen. Of course they would. We also know that Brett Ratner, who is part of Relativity, called the film “not your grandfather’s Snow White.”
Of the three studios, personally, I trust Disney above the rest. They’ve got an Oscar-winning screenwriter, Oscar-winning production designer and they are responsible for giving us the iconic version of Snow White. Plus Francis Lawrence has actually made box office hits, unlike Rupert Sanders or Tarsem Singh.

Re: ARCHIVE: The Rey Kenobi Files - 1
Rey’s production codename was Snow.
"The secrecy surrounding the production of The Force Awakens was practically unprecedented. When following the production over at Making Star Wars, I saw many code names come and go. For a long time, Maz was known as ‘Rose’; Rey as ‘Kira’; Snoke as ‘Uber’; and so on.
While it’s easy to dismiss these as simple shields for the characters’ true names, I’d argue that there’s more to them than that. We know for a fact that Maz was codenamed ‘Rose’ because she was based on an inspirational teacher named Rose Gilbert, who continued to teach long after retirement age and was known as a font of wisdom and inspiration.
In light of this, I would like to consider two code names known to have been used for Rey: ‘Snow Girl’ and ‘Fawn’.
The most likely explanation for the ‘Snow Girl’ code name is that it was used to refer to Rey in relation to the Starkiller Base sequences. Starkiller Base is a snowy planet and Rey is the only ‘girl’ on it (one can’t imagine Captain Phasma approving of such a label), so the code name is a no-brainer. However, there is an alternative interpretation - the code name could (and the stress here is on could) be an illusion to the fairy tale Snow White. "

Re: ARCHIVE: The Rey Kenobi Files - 1
This was an older post of mine, but I think considering the new tweet, from Pablo it deserves revisiting...
Kira/Rey has always been a Kenobi… Daisy Ridley: “I have a responsibility to make sure that Rey’s story continues to be inspiring, and that she continues to be multifaceted and the choices she makes aren’t easy. Her story doesn’t just roll along.” “[Rey’s] past is not flexible. I know what the past is, and that’s not changed. It’s always been the same.” (Total Film magazine July 2016) George Lucas plans for ST in 2012 ( female protagonist was always his idea, and that idea never changed) From, GL to MA, then to JJ & Kasdan, who the character is; is consistent, you will not find a published article on the internets or in any concept art to suggest she is a “Skywalker” or “Palpatine” but you will find TONS of Kenobi descendant casting calls and description from very reputable sources, or she is a random new character. However, just using logic if “Kira” comes from GL, the chances of Rey being random are zero. One thing is for sure when it comes to George he is meticulous and plans ahead, he went through painstaking effort to create Obi & Satine love story/retcon/backstory… it had to be for a reason."

Re: ARCHIVE: The Rey Kenobi Files - 1
But Derek Ruths wanted to dig deeper. After the McGill University computer science professor saw The Force Awakens, he says, “I came away with the sense that it felt as though it was the same as A New Hope, but I didn’t feel disappointed. That paradox got me thinking.” Ruths also happens to runs McGill’s Network Dynamics Lab, which models human behavior—so he sought out character comparison data by scraping the scripts of both films to determine the number of scenes in which various characters appear, then tallied how often they interact with other characters.
That data, not too surprisingly, revealed that The Force Awakens does indeed mirror A New Hope in many ways, including how characters can be grouped: There are the comic relief droids, a scrappy group of rebels, and characters waging war over how to wield The Force. But mapping The Force Awakens characters to their equivalents in A New Hope shows that it wasn’t a one-to-one translation.
Ruths easily identified the obvious parallels between the two films. BB-8 maps to R2-D2. Chewbacca in TFA maps to Chewbacca from A New Hope. The rebel pilots assaulting Starkiller Base = the ones trying to take out the Death Star. But other characters yielded unexpected results. Poe Dameron maps not to Han, but to Luke; Obi-Wan Kenobi maps to Kylo Ren; and Rey, the center of countless fan theories, maps to … Darth Vader?
Why? The Author may not know about Ring Composition, but that easily explains his mathematical approach and results. Reylo is a parallel and reversal of Obikin.

I don't understand a word this guy says but a Poe is poor man's Han or Luke or whatever he fancies himself to be and Finn's 3PO. Human characters don't necessary have counterparts in other humans.

Yeah part of why I think if it'd have to be a connection to any pre-existing characters, it'd have to be Obi-Wan, either based on Lucas' original rumored plans (and preferences) and also Lawrence Kasdan writing TFA. Just that it's the hand of the original writers, so who would they most likely prefer? Otherwise, I fully admit it has to do with my love for both actors who played that character. Which by the way, this was pretty funny:
The Bridge on the River Kwai (Reylo Style)
Just like Obi-wan, I guess I could see some Reylo in this from a certain-point-of-view.
And speaking of Obi-wan, Alec Guinness is in this movie!
As I kid I thought it was cheeky cute to be all, man, The Bridge on the River Kwai and Doctor Zhivago are the Clone Wars, yo (cause prior to Episode II we didn’t know what Clone Wars meant).
What was I saying about Tanya Komarovskaya and Strelnikov being awfully familiar of these two : )?
I would kind of love it if VIII featured them having a conversation/argument with the "your point, their village" line about what he did to Tuanel

@spacebaby45678 I have seen very recent interview by Obi Wan's voice actor in Rebels...he also said Obi Wan will not appear in the future Rebels episodes, because he's watching over Luke. Everyone is trying to make us think Obi Wan's story is done. From my experience, when someone tries so hard to convince others something isn't true or isn't happening..it usually does happen
