So exciting to see everyone! Hopefully y'all aren't too shy to post.

You all's signaature's are great! Where is everyone from? This is something I would have loved to talk about on JCF, but it seemed a little restricted and I didn't want to derail anything.

I'm Tina, and I'm probably one of the older Reylo shippers in the fandom. I'm 40 and I live in Georgia with my husband and two greyhounds. My mom ships them too, and we send memes back and forth to each other daily - we've been having a ball together for the last three months! She's out of Michigan where I grew up.

Been into various fandoms ever since I can remember, beginning with Voltron when I was 9. I shipped Lotor and Allura, but didn't know it was called shipping back then. And if you know who these two are, you will see there is a pattern!

And can I say that I just love that we are in our 20's/30's/40's/50's etc. And I love that there are younger folks in our midst, too. So far as I know the youngest person in our community is 17. Reylo is for all ages and genders, just like Star Wars. It's so narrow minded to assume that Reylo shippers must automatically be drooling tween girls. *eye roll*

Hello! I'm Ashlea and I'm 30. I'm a yoga teacher living in Oklahoma with my awesome pair of boy-girl twins. (I mean really, how much of a Star Wars nerd do you have to be to pull that one off?...) My educational background is in psychology so if I find time I might explore the Jungian concepts behind TFA. Anyway, glad to be invited to these forums and share everything Reylo with you ladies (and possible gentlemen?)!

Funny, I was trying to hit the 'like' button on several posts and was like....where is it? lol

The old thread was awesome, but what was lacking was the more personal level. For example, it was hard to tell even sometimes if it's a man or a woman behind the avatar because we are always so on topic. Although, after awhile you begin to figure these things out, but it's a slower process than on other forums I've been a part of over the years.

Interestingly enough, the majority of so called "anti's" are mainly young teenagers on tumblr. The rest of us are old enough and educated enough to tell the difference between fiction and reality.

He said in one post right after the heavy handed mod warning had come down but before the thread was locked that it wasn't the same at all, and that it had lost its fun. Not his exact words, but was the general idea.

Hi all! Where's Reylo Discussion, ha,ha? I only see Rey's Parentage.

I'm located in NYC. I can't share my real name here. It's too distinctive, and since I have worked and may again work in entertainment, I can't risk having my name tied to a lot of fan activity. It could cost me work and reputation.

But I've gone by AnneNeville for so long that I will answer to it like it's my real name.

Is anyone else in the NYC area?
