I don't know, I don't think this is THE international trailer? John Boyega did mention once that Kelly Marie Tran would show up in the next trailer, and I don't see him saying that unless he was sure of that? But agree to disagree.

No matter how TLJ turns out for Reylo, we'll always have that last scene. It's indeed glorious.

They're really hiding Rose. Are her scenes that spoilery or just messed up work by LF department? They showed her with DJ and Finn in FO officers uniforms and also other few things in BTS footage.

Definitely not as much new as I was hoping for. I didn't feel like the teaser sequences spliced in improved anything either. They felt sort of out of place.

@FrolickingFizzgig isn't she in the tree? The exit/entrance looks like the one where Luke's standing at the end of the teaser ("it is time for the Jedi to end"). That was in the tree:

Yes, you're right. The tree cave. I'm forgetting that there are two caves now. Maybe more. Ahch-To is full of them.

No, it's a mix of teaser and trailer, and Fizz posted the only relevant new footage (2 out of 3). It's disappointing.

What a disappointment. This is mostly the trailer with a few bits of the teaser and maybe three new frames of Rey, Kylo's helmet and 3-PO. Is this really the international trailer? I think for TFA, the international trailer was completely different from the teasers and trailer?

I guess they decided that if it ain't broke, why fix it?

One thing they did is insert a shot of Kylo when Luke says "it didn't scare me then", like they did with the TV promo.

They want people to associate the line with Kylo, and understand that Rey is somehow similar to Kylo.

That's the only noteworthy thing I have to say about it.

Ha I noticed that too. The "new" trailer reminds me of when they relaunch a "new and improved" product but it has only like 10% more of whatever. Kylo and Rey's connection in this trailer: now with even MORE super obvious subtext!

I love that shot though. My first reaction was “she’s beautiful and looks so distressed.” I am kind of happy that they did not turn the whole thing upside down to create whatever new trailer that will trigger more questions. I agree with @Saracene. Don’t fix what’s not broken. I really like the trailer as it is. It sets the tone and I can live with it until TLJ.

BB-8 might be hiding on FO ship, background looks like it. C3PO at D'Qar because the background also fits some of others shots of Leia.

If BB-8 is on a FO ship, maybe he will meet BB-9E there

If that is the trailer, I’m a bit disappointed- I really wanted to see more of Finn and Rose. If it’s just an extra trailer, then I’m good. But I want to see more! Bring on more questions!

I can't help but laugh at the constant clarification that Luke is referring to Kylo Ren when he talks about the power that scares him. All I think of is the sheer number of people who insisted, and continue insisting, that Luke was referring to anybody, ANYBODY other than Kylo. As if Luke referring to someone like Palpatine adds ANYTHING to this particular story.

And really, it's all because Kylo got beaten by a girl. It never ceases to amaze me how this character raises some people's hackles and makes them put on blinders something fierce. In my opinion, that's the sign of a very successful character!
