Sorry but as I said, if all we have are parallels like "here she do the same thing that Obi Wan do in a similar situation" I am sceptical. But we have Obi Wan voice during the vision, twice, and THIS is something different and more convincing.

I agree with @ZenBrainJam Parallels are nice but i'm not going to hope for Rey Kenobi too much, i don't want to be dissapointed if it doesn't happen. But if it does i'll be the very happy Obi Wan is the best

This thread is not for debate or *** for tat arguments, it is was created to just be a place to enjoy the the possibility of Rey being a Kenobi. If you disagree, the Rey Lineage thread II is for debate please put forth any and all theories about Lineage there. I would love to read them.

Her obi wan parallels tie in with the plot though and are not random like the Luke ones. I don't think they were really Luke ones anyway because lots of people have that helmet, lots fly ships well, lots fly speeders. Only one person in this saga saves a droid from scavengers, only one person retrieves a sabre from the chest, only one person used anakins lightsabre to prompt Luke onto the quest and only one person made r2d2 show the complete message he was hiding

I don't disagree, for me Rey Kenobi is fine, totally. But if the theory is only based upon similar scenes or parallels I am sceptical because reywalkers were doing the same to support their theory. But as @Gemini pointed out the parallels are different from Luke/Rey similarities, and there is always the Obi Wan voice during force vision (that in my opinion is the strongest hint to Rey Kenobi)

That's the part I'm really curious about. There's definitely callbacks all over the place, but I'm still on the fence yet if they're just callbacks or if they're actual clues. Although like I said before, my guess is that if they're related, it'll be a throwaway detail mentioned at the end after she's established herself as a person in her own right (built her own family and become the heroine of her own story).

Chiasmus & Ring Composition. In TFA, Kenobi is the missing value. I will put a meta here about that, when I get a chance. The parallels are not "call backs"  Rey walks Obi Wan's footsteps, and Rey & the Saber follows Obi Wan's path. These are not callbacks but are narrative parallels. That is something completely different.  Please refer back to the article posted on Page 1, from huffing ton post.
