In any case, Rey reaching up and touching Snoke seems really odd, given that we've got no context around this illustration.

I must admit Snoke does remind me a bit of those local cookies (no matter how they look, they're tasty ) :

Since things are slow right now, I'll bring over a few more interesting comments from News from Jakku, who also has a reddit account (writing style/voice is the same as the IG account, and he's basically acknowledged on IG that it's the same person).

I was sifting through reddit last night to see if I could find anything interesting, and I ran across this comment:

A culinary intermezzo just for you two:

These are called "Hrostule" (don't try to pronounce it you may kill yourself ). They're typical for the Adriatic coast region of Croatia, called Dalmatia. Which for centuries was the poorest part of the country (men were ordinary sailors or fishermen and women worked at home because the soil wasn't so fertile there)hence the simplicity of the cookie. (Flour, animal grease, water, a spoon of salt and sugar)

The cookies aren't soft - they're crunchy like chips. Very sweet - because you put them in a lot of sugar after they're fried.

The Rey poking Snoke thing is freaking me out. Don't know what to make of that, but it's making me uncomfortable

I'm compiling NFJ spoilers in Spoilers Archive. Just in case. BTW, they don't call anyone "Snoke's people". That's some inquiring poster. NFJ only said that KoR are not Luke's ex students and that KoR don't fight Luke and Rey. Not exactly a groundbreaking info considering that MSW has been hearing since last year that Kylo posse are not KoR. And the students are dead.

Sney confirmed. Face it everyone. We all knew it would come.

Yep, the moment his gorgeous blue eyes were revealed, Sney was canon. This is going to be textbook BatB. Snoke will transform into a beautiful First Jedi that he was 1000000 years ago.

If Rey does touch Snoke, perhaps it's in a Force vision or to check if he's real? It seems so bizarre without context, especially with just her pinky finger in his robe...

But yeah, it's a little Sneyish without context, lol.

Yeah, actually, if you read the comments in the IG shot that I posted, NFJ does indeed refer to "Snoke's people". That IG combined with the reddit comment basically say that it wasn't Kylo Ren who destroyed Luke's Academy, but "Snoke's people".

So, if it wasn't the KoR, then maybe some of our earlier speculation was correct when we were analyzing the teaser--perhaps the First Order carried out an air assault or some other sort of full military strike on Luke's temple?

Perhaps Snoke is like a ghost or can turn into something weird so Rey touches him out of curiosity?
Was it ever confirmed that it was Kylo who killed Luke's students? Jedi killer name was given to him by concept artists because the only thing they knew about him at that stage was his Vader obsession. They made their own story...

It could have been both? Kylo could have been on the ground attacking the students but wasn't the one who set the whole temple ablaze? Kylo had to have been a part of it because if I recall, multiple people and things have said that he did indeed kill the students. They didn't make it seem like it was in a roundabout way either.

Pablo confirmed a while back that Kylo killed the students. MSW says that they've "seen documentation" that Kylo was the one who kills the students. So who knows?

My guess, since NFJ seems to have some legitimate source is that the First Order was probably involved in some way, but Ben/Kylo is clearly not without responsibility. Maybe he gave the FO the temple location? Or maybe the students turned on Ben during the attack, and he killed in self-defense?

Yeah, it's got me wondering about him possibly being a fallen Angel of Iego again, which could supposedly appear to different people as different things. How creepy would it be if Snoke took on the appearance of say, one of Rey's parents, to her?
