Somebody involved in the ST production is a Phillip Pullman reader and is doing a better job of mining the themes of his novels than the big budget film adaptation ever did

by the way- how come Holdo is looking so young? Shouldn't she an Leia be about the same age ? At least that's what I remember from PoA novel

It seems they have plastic surgery in the SWU as well

I'm pretty sure this is the shot @nonesuch saw. Rose flying a Skimmer on Crait. If she doesn't die on Supremacy, no way she dies, IMO.

This shot also seems to take place after the skimmers/Crait as Rose has changed her hair and is wearing a scarf:

And new hair seems to be after the battle which could mean two things:

a) battle goes for longer so she has time to changer her hair between action

b) there's more after the battle is over meaning Crait battle isn't end very end

Also, her scarf is under the collar. Look:

I think it's obvious that there's more after Crait. Probably an epilogue of some kind. There's absolutely no way that Walker battle is the epic conclusive fight.

There's a new tv spot right at the beginning, very Poe centered.

Agree with you that the Walker battle ain't the epic fight but I still do think that the epic conclusion is indeed on Crait since Rian said the planet would play a decisive role. No way IMO that Supremacy is the epic conclusion given the fact that the trailer already gave away two major spoilery moments (Rey/Snoke; Finn/Phasma). Seems to me like LF is trying hard to make us  think that the Resistance has a lot of fun on Crait and that Supremacy is the big deal but given the timeline I heavily doubt about this. As I see things, the Resistance will kick the FO's a** on Supremacy, then begin to kick the FO's a** on Crait...and for an unknown reason kept locked by the SW crew the FO will turn the table at the end of the day (a little like the Jedi Order turned the table in AOTC on Geonosis?)

I suppose that it fits more with the nailing down the timeline thread but i gathered photos from Rose:

1) The scarf
So she wears the scarf in all pictures, especially during the Canto Bight mission:

Except on Supremacy:

And Crait:

==> I would suggest that she wears the scarf the most of the movie and "loses" as she boards on Supremacy.  

2) The hair
Her hair are way shorter on the forefront in the picture on the left:

Note that in all other pictures, her hair are long on the forefront. And in this picture where the hair are short, note that she wears her scarf, which IMO suggest it is before the Supremacy events And she is crying: knowing that her sister will apparently pass away early in the movie, that's not a small detail

Since the lenghth of the hair suggests some time jump and that there was a rumor about time-jump in the movie, I would suggest the following timeline:

1) D'Qar evacuation (after her sister's death?)

==> short hairstyle + scarf

[Time-jump]

2) Canto Bight mission



==> long hairstyle + scarf
==> Note that Finn is wearing Poe's jacket in all pictures

3) Supremacy

==> long hairstyle but less stylish + FO costume

4) Crait

==> long hairstyle but less stylish + Resistance costume without scarf (not the same costume as Canto Bight's)

THR understands that the four will be seen guarding Boyega's character, Finn, in an elevator, surely making it Star Wars' most secretly star-studded sequence of all time.

I remember that the original report had only Finn, Rose (they said Rey but obviously Rose) and DJ (then just BDT) with 2 Princess in the elevator. I guess Hardy joins later which is where butt-slap happens since Finn, Rose and DJ are in officer uniforms. Hardy congratulates Finn on his promotion.

Now, I think that HR thinks this is the scene but it doesn't match MSW description nor the original report about Rose and DJ presence:

Someone on Tumblr mentioned that it looks like the TIE is shooting off Kylo's hand. Hope that doesn't mean anything!

To me it looks more like it's shooting Finn (and maybe Poe's hand).

This poster reminds me A LOT of Attack of the Clones main poster.





I'd say the composition is basically the same.

Me too! I also am intrigued that they have gone to a "everything is red but the lightsaber" layout. This is more red than the teaser poster.
