The Last Jedi Countdown

ok, I got all my dates set to see the movie multiple times in the next few weeks!!!!! Thursday night with the hubby, probably Sunday by myself, Fri the 22nd with friends, Christmas Eve with my mom, the 28th with my dad, I wouldn't be surprised if my husband's family wants to go on Christmas or the day after either.
Alllllllllll the analysis!!!

My viewing is tomorrow and I just keep watching the clock. Can't come soon enough.

I'm seeing it in 23 h- will review directly after.

Less than 26 hours, will be sitting in my cinema seat. I keep on having to hide pages I like on my facebook as not to totally spoil the showing. Part of me wants to wear headphones from the cinema parking lot until getting to my seat, as I have this strange fear that someone will randomly say spoilers in the cinema lobby on the way in. Haha...Paranoid me.

Finally could book my tickets....am seeing it in less than 48 hours from now....

Okay this is it. Waiting in front of a Kylo poster and I feel like I'm about to puke.

I wonder if anyone around me is overinvested to the point of puking.

I am in the theaters. Too many adds!!! The waiting is killing me. Nervous AF.

My ticket is 12am tomorrow, I will be going to the theater from work which ends 7pm and I might arrive there 9pm. Nothing to do for 3 hours. Do you think its a good idea to watch Murder on the Orient Express right before TLJ?

Luckily we were already on the Mall's street. It was about 500meters away. I walked to the mall while he left his motor cycle at the nearest gasoline station for a fix. I'm now in the mall buying bubble tea to drink for the movie!

ETA: I'm wearing Juju with heels for christsake (google it) and I had to trot on a cobblestone sidewalk and go up the elevated crosswalk to cross the highway to the mall.

Ok I decided, I won't go at 14th, but I will go alone on 15th at the day - I made a bargain with my editor that I need to make a video about work stuff in the afternoon, so I can go watch the movie at daytime. It is just hard to imagine how I will be able to function and then in the evening there will be a Christmas ball at my BF work. But oh well I don't know why, but I want to see it at first by myself and then with other people.

Me too!! I want to be alone watching the first time, cause I will be weeping, gasping, squealing for sure, it's less embarrassing for me if people next to me are strangers whom i will never meet again, lol

Now that I look, they added two more screenings tomorrow evening, maybe it could be better and then I can just take Friday off anyway LOL

Yeah, I usually also go with someone.
But when I watch alone I kind of feel every emotion much more, because I am just glued to the screen and I have this stupid tendency to worry how others will think or do they like it and if I am alone I can just absorb into the movie. It brings a catharsis of some kind.
In a way, I think it can be either a  more rewarding or a lonely experience, depending on the situation.

Exactly! I'm going early 9:45 in the Morning... so I don't think it will be crowded. I just hope they aren't too much kids making stupid comments so I have to throw popcorn at them...

Haha yeah not being crowded is why I wanted to go at daytime as well, but we have only late screenings tomorrow so I am still doubting haha. But I swear if someone ruins the moment

12 hours and 47 minutes left for me (midnight screening in Germany) and I DEFINITELY will wear earplugs when entering that cinema lobby!!!
I'm taking no risks - NOT AT THIS POINT!
My hubby will accompany me so he can do the talking.

I'm so excited I barely slept last night...fall asleep around 2 am and woke up after only 3 hours. Hope this night will be better- need to rest before watching it tomorrow. OMG I can't think straight. I'm almost glad I have to work this evening- keeps me busy.

11 hours and 45 mins....Holy moly.

can't believe some members have seen it already!!!! I'm going crazy trying to work but failing. I will need a nap for sure before tonight. Never been to a midnight showing of any film and I'm going by myself so lots of firsts ! Must not drink past 6pm lol
