34 hours (going on Saturday morning).  Here's the hard part-- my two older kids have finals next week.  My son is not going to let that stop him from TLJ.  My daughter, however, is going to study.  We are going to have to stay quiet for a week until she can attend it.

i'm currently re-watching TFA to be ready. I admit it: I haven't read spoilers apart from one, and I have to say that one spoiler I know about is nothing I mind being spoiled about: because if I just went into TLJ unprepared... I would have hated it. Like, REALLY REALLY hated it, lol. I'm not going to say what it is, and I'm missing context so I could change my mind once I see the movie... but yeah.

All I'm going to say is that my expectations are pretty low, as of now. I think TLJ is going to be a well-made film... but whether I will like it or not will be something very subjective.

Agreed. I've tried to avoid spoilers, although I've stumbled onto a few. It seems like everyone here hates this movie though, so I'm going in with dramatically lowered expectations at this point. I'm trying to wrap my head around everyone apparently loving the Reylo scenes but ultimately hating the movie. I guess I'll be finding out why soon...

I have not kept away from spoilers because I like them and they never really ruin a movie for me. I usually decide what I like or don't like even if others hate it. I have dialed back my expectations also. I am telling myself, this is family space opera and just enjoy it for what that is....also realize we have one more movie to go.

In our seats now. Movie starts in an hour.

Just bought my tickets for a Monday Matinee with the Hubby.

I hour. I will be seeing this movie in one hour.

[size=72]I won't see it till tonight and am so nervous right now as I'm fairly unspoiled and have no idea how it will go. I'd noticed the subdued and guarded reactions but a lot of people here hate it? Damn. I have a few guesses as to why and am now hoping my big nope isn't the reason.

I'm back! I enjoyed it. I am very glad that I followed the advice to let go of my headcanons going in. We were wrong about a LOT of stuff, lol.
