I know I'll see it again after the 15th, and I expect it will be at least 4 times in the theater. I know me. Lots of theater going for this one.

For a month and a half I held tickets for the earliest showtime in our area, December 14 at 7:00 PM. Then the day the EW stuff dropped I found out that my kids’ Christmas performance is on December 14 at 7:00 PM! I panicked, you guys I called the theater and a miracle of miracles happened. The people who held our same seats at the 10:50 PM showing had just given them up so they changed our showtime! We can still see TLJ on opening day without being terrible parents! I still want spoilers, though, I’m not allowed to share with my husband

And even then it'll take really seeing it. As far as outside sources go, I'm less concerned about fake leaks and more concerned about biased leaks. As in accurate descriptions of what takes place, but lacking entirely in emotion and nuance or chocked full of one-sided nonsense. I've seen many a fanboy describe Kylo reaching out as "taunting" or "deceitful." To which I'm just like "LMAO wut, look at him! He's like "take me, accept me, I accept you" complete with the most earnest gaze ever. That is the only reason I might consider going dark everywhere but this forum.

Great point, and maybe I'll be less at risk for spoilers than I think?  The only thing that would legitimately upset me I think is if I read we are getting a kiss from what seems to be a legitimate source, only to find it isn't true when I watch the film.  I can't think of how that would happen, but you never know.  On the flip side, it be cool to have it switched so I'm absolutely shocked in the best possible way.

I did get tickets for five of us on December 14th at 6:00pm, which is the earliest possible showing in the US.  It also helps I'm on eastern standard time. I had to keep refreshing the page, and they sold out within 10 minutes on October 9th.

Yes! I have this luck that I am allowed to organize my working plan nearly as I want to, as long as my work is well done. Since I knew right from the beginning that my mind would be filled with SW that day, I thought: "ok! You better go in the morning so that you're done with this"
