Hi everyone! My name is Aly, I heard about this forum from Tumblr because I was on the hunt for some new discussions and voices on the sequel trilogy! I am into all things Star Wars, but I do know the most about the sequel trilogy.

Just wanted to say hello! I'm not exactly a Star Wars person, so please excuse my ignorance on a lot of things related to the overall Star Wars Universe and the previous two trilogies. I've seen both trilogies, prequel and OG, but was just always meh about them. Especially didn't care for the prequel all that much. My husband drug me to see TFA, and I enjoyed it for the most part. I thought Kylo Ren was an interesting character but again... nothing really stood out to me at the time that made me say WOW. Other than when he took his mask off for Rey, and how does his hair even look like that? I was surprised he looked so young and not at all like the evil, creepy big bad I was expecting (see Darth Vader taking off his mask).

But then... I got drug to see TLJ. And I was hooked. I think I had some inkling that Kylo Ren/Ben Solo was a messed up, damaged, broken character in TFA, but boy did they drive it home in TLJ. Such fantastic character development and Adam did such a fantastic job with the role. I'm a sucker for complicated characters that are neither wholly bad or wholly good. Loki is another fav of mine. So anyhow, I'm just hoping for redemption for Ben now... in the end he's going to have to be the one to choose to save himself. And if we get Reylo too, that would be another bonus because their chemistry in TLJ was something else. I just really hope he makes it out of episode IX alive. All my friends and family keep telling me he'll be redeemed but die. But I'm gonna keep hoping otherwise.

Don't worry, here you'll find a lot of people who believe in a redeemed Ben still alive at the end of IX. He is the Skywalker of this trilogy and the saga can't conclude with a sad ending.

Glad to be aboard the Reylo hype train! Excited for IX, and a little scared too... I think I'm more about Kylo being redeemed and Ben coming home instead of just seeing more Reylo. Laughing
