Actualy Filoni said Sabine isn't Satine's daughter ... he never specifically excluded Bo-Katan....also, adoption is common among mandalorians in legends (normally war orphans). So even if she isn't Bo-Katan's biological daughter, she could have been adopted by her. The other popular option is Rook Kast but she was a member of the shadow collective and Super Commandos (Maul's team), not the Night Owls. My feeling is that Sabine is Rook Kast's biological child but due to circumstances, she was adopted by Bo-Katan...hence, her night owl helmet with Rook Kast's raven eyes drawn on it, acknowledging both mothers.

Rook Kast
Sabine

As long as she isn't related to Kylo I'm cool.
By the anyone living in the UK I've just picked up A Visual History for just £12 at Asda - I'm still in shock.

Dave Filoni Reflects On The Clone Wars Season 6 In IGN Interview
Posted by Eric on March 18, 2014 at 03:19 PM CST |
IGN's Eric Goldman has posted another extensive interview with The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni, and this time, Filoni isn't pulling any punches when it comes to the last few episodes of the series. Due to spoilers, we won't excerpt any of the meatiest parts of their conversation, but we will share the final part of the Q&A, where Filoni addresses a fan theory about a connection between The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Goldman asks him if there is any relation between Satine and Bo-Katan from The Clone Wars and Sabine, the Mandalorian woman who joins the rebel crew in the forthcoming series. Here's how Filoni responds:
[T]here really isn't any correlation. I mean, maybe I shouldn't debunk that stuff now, but I would hate for someone to have months of getting their hopes up and then be mad at me when things don't work out the way that they've been imagining it for months. But there really isn't a connection between Satine and Sabine. I found it amusing at the time when Simon [Kinberg], Greg [Weisman] and I were naming these characters. I was like, "Wow, Sabine... huh. I have a character that's named like that already!" So I kind of laughed at that, but it was good name, and we thought it fit the character, so we went with it. Then Pablo Hidalgo and I are always the ones that are like, "Aw, Clone Wars fans are going to think there's some relation here," but that's good. It's always good to wonder about what the connections are.
I've said it before, knowing that I worked on this show Clone Wars for a decade almost, it would be crazy to imagine I did another series and it was completely devoid of any connectivity whatsoever. I mean, we're pretty much happening after the last story I did anyway. While not a day or a month after it, it is sequentially ahead of what I just finished. So it's kind of a lucky thing because I have a perspective having created Clone Wars of knowing the history that the young people in Star Wars Rebels may or may not actually know and how much they know. It's provided an insight into how we write those characters, because what did the Clone Wars mean when you get out into the bigger galaxy, now that we're not dealing with, in particular the Republic or Separatists anymore, but an Empire and a band of Rebels? So it's exciting, I have to say. To see Stormtroopers every day now is exciting. They're so similar to Clones, but they're just different. They're the icons. Seeing a TIE Fighter is the icon. It's exciting to see those things alive again. I've seen them in other media, but this is a story in animated form, just like Clone Wars was. It's kind of like a legacy thing now in Star Wars, so it's exciting to be a part of this.
Check out the full interview with Filoni right here, but be sure to set aside some time to read this, as it's full of amazing detail and fascinating insights into Filoni and George Lucas' thought process.

When it is, perhaps Walmart will have similar offers - hopefully so,as I believe Asda is part of them. Early Xmas treat.
Great book besides.

@spacebaby45678
I have heard the interview before and I never said Sabine has to be related by blood.... she could be adopted by Bo- Katan after the siege of Mandalore and retained her mother's family name. (This would explain the identity of the mysterious person who gave her a helmet that resembles Bo-katan's night owls as mentioned in Sabine's Art Journal) Also, judging by Bo-Katan's reaction on Pre Vizsla's death, she might have been his LI.....it also explains why she didn't pledge allegiance to Maul when he killed Pre Vizsla....though she should have in accordance with Mandalorian law. Adopting Sabine would give her the Vizsla heritage connecting her to the dark saber.
Also, being a Wren means she is not a Vizsla..... Vizsla is one of the major clans of Mandalore, like Kryze....and other families (like Wren) pledge allegiance to the main clans but they are not the same....so unless she is adopted by a Vizsla or Kryze (or marries one), she is definitely neither of them....which kind of spoils the "arranged marriage" between houses theory, eliminating her as Rey's mother.

I think Filoni saying that there is "no correlation" probably rules out adoption. also, what I will be looking for in Rebels this season, when Bo appears is if she hints, or alludes to Korkie in anyway... dollars to donuts that Korks joined the Imperial Empire and that is much contrasted by Sabine becoming a rebel

Shame about Maul's lower half, because Sabine being the daughter of Rook Kast and Darth Maul would have been exactly my type of plot twist

1. Filoni shot down a Satine and Sabine connection....he never specifically eliminated Bo-Katan as a potential parent. (http://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2014/04/dave-filoni-talks-star-wars-rebels-2.html)
But for a minute let us assume you are right and Sabine is not from clan Vizsla or Kryze but "marries" into it through Korkie......I have a big issue with it because:
1. It is based on the assumption that Korkie is even the secret son of Satine and Obi-wan...let us again assume he is that and somehow marries Sabine....that brings issue #2,
2. Sabine would have no link to clan Vizsla or Kryze... she would be Wren, removing her from a dark saber legacy, either by blood ro adoption....it also means the similarity between her helmet and Bo-Katan's helmet is also a false lead.
3. Sabine gets reduced to some brood mare who just exists to produce Rey...which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I'm happy to see more diversity in the SW universe (the last character with south asian looks was Depa Bilaba)....it would be a travesty to reduce her like that into some character who enters into an arranged marriage and has no other importance (forced arranged marriages still exist in South Asia and it would be a horrible message to send, especially if she has been avoiding that). I would then rather see her end up with Ezra or Wedge....at least she can choose who to love.

You never know - they could find his *ahem* lower half, apply a bit of bacta and have it be completely functional again. It could happen. I've read Reywalker theories that are more out there than this one....

I get you, but I am reading that sentence and it is compound, it eliminates any correlation between Bo, Satine & Sabine and more specifically the names Sabine & Satine eventhough they sound alike, really I don't care since I don't believe that Sabine is related to Rey in anyway, so if LF wants to create a relationship between Bo & Sabine more power to them and great! TCW set up Mandalore with a rich history and plenty of story to be mined for many movies and shows.

Re: ARCHIVE: Rey's Lineage Discussion II - 2
Rey officially being pushed as a mystery by Disney and Lucasfilm for 2017.
What's more if you think she's a kenobi, they put a kenobi clue beneath paragraphs about her mysterious past and lineage
"Droid is for sale" - obi wan
"Actually the droid is not for sale" - Rey
Movie mystery, biggest and first and foremost Rey is pushed as this by disney:
This annual is heavily based around yoda, obibwan and Vader when discussing past links to power as well as feeling the force.
They put young obi-wan on one page, turn it over and Vader is on the next,
Another interesting link below is a key moment about Rey and a key force power in the force power section of the annual. Not only do they officially draw attention to them both using the exact same mind trick, lucasfilm also draws attention to the fact they both use it on a stormtrooper

Good finds, Gem!
Vader's luckless victim's made me laugh out loud.
Well that is two Kenobi call backs, so... did Luke ever jedi mind trick a trooper? or even Qui Gon?
