Just a little comment, I believe GA will think Kylo will not play a big part in the movie from these trailers. We barely see him. Just Rey and the rest.

Possible. I guess LF wants to keep his fate secret since Adam said it is truly unexpected. Until now, the information from the rest of the cast was that the journey itself is unexpected but it seems that LF wants to emphasize that Kylo's fate in particular is unexpected. That kind of information is not something we hear about Rey or Finn or even Luke so I find it pretty telling.

I know. I was just making an observation. When I talk about SW with people who aren't big fans they just look clueless about Kylo.

I watch all the tv spot.. So little Kylo.. And it's always the same footage.. I'm really clueless for Kylo.. To think he's my fave character.. Just how unexpected that make LF being secretive for him even in trailer..

Kylo was emphasized in the only trailer that really matters. Don't worry about it! 

For me, I have to remind myself that I (and we) are not average Star Wars fans. We are next level fans, so we analyze, interpret, and dig into every little detail.
So, Rian gave the audience the trailer that's Kylo-heavy to prepare them for what's coming. But he's not going to oversaturate it, I suppose. I just hope that when the cast is saying "It's not going to go the way you think" that they aren't actually talking to us, that they are talking to John and Sue who are going to go see the movie once and maybe buy the DVD.

Like Adam Driver hopes the audiences likes the humanizing direction of his character.

What's awesome is that this is probably not the climax scene at all! They never showed the big stuff in TFA marketing. That would indicate that there is so much more!!!

MAJOR Dark!Rey baiting here. Tho there is a small voice in me saying what if Rey and Kylo exchanged arms in this scene. An accidental situation of sorts. Pretty damn symbolic if it happens.

OMG, Rey using Kylo's lightsaber was one of my favourite headcanons. Could my day start any better?

Nah, the PG flinches, and another one appears on offensive and Rey seems to take a step back.

I think her goal here is to destroy that battery thing behind her. I also think that Kylo might be under torture and the Force getting sucked out by those big needle things. That's why his saber was free, and the only way to stop it is to destroy the battery.

So, Rey is saving the day... Again? I don't know if I like the idea of Kylo being showed off weak again. Lets see.

They didn't show Rey and Kylo in the Snowfight and they didn't show Han and Kylo on the catwalk.

I was about to say the same thing. TFA trailer had the snippet of Kylo and Finn's fight.

I'm pretty sure that this is a similar big climactic thing at the end of the movie. Like, if Rey's confrontation with Snoke is not the biggest thing at the end, what else could it be?

I don't think this makes Kylo look weak. I'd say that to be seen as Snoke's source of power(immortality?) one would have to be very strong. Also it's possible that Kylo's fight with the PG comes after this scene. Maybe Rey instigates the fight by destroying the battery and freeing Kylo from torture. The PG attack her while Kylo picks up his bearings, and shortly fights side by side with Rey. Once again it would be a testament to his strength and endurance if he could fight multiple people after suffering a major injury. In TFA he took a mortal wound, and it's likely here that his life force gets sucked out.

I like your scenario best. Sorry my negativity, I hate to see Kylo being seen as a weak character. And in TFA no one remembered he got shot by Chewie blaster. D:

What? The ridiculous desire for power and Vader legacy darkness is what makes Kylo Ren weak. The strongest and bravest thing he could do is give help to Rey when she needs it.

I admit, I'll roll my eyes if we get more of, Rey can get herself out of any scrap and needs no help from no one. Doesn't have to be Kylo who saves her, just please can we have Rey in a truly hopeless situation she can't fix. And I don't mean someone helping her along once she gets the ball rolling, I mean like Luke at the end of ESB.
