So another detail to do with the Forceback, I'm on a David Lean kick now thanks to several of you mentioning his movies. He's the author of the Left to Right movement on screen denoting progression/progress (which @vaderito first teased out in deciphering the period of time in the scenes being Left=Past and Right=Future). It was a technique he used in Lawrence of Arabia and which George Lucas cribbed for AotC:

Almost all movement in the film goes from left to right. David Lean said he did this to emphasize that the film was a journey. (See Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and you will notice that the "good guys" at the end of the film are moving from right to left when attacking the Separatist army. This was done purposely.)

Also besides the scene of Finn after crashlanding on Jakku with Poe's jacket over his head to shield out the sun being a reference to rescue of Gasim from the Nefu Desert:





Huh, so it's not completely off base to think that there are elements possibly from other Lean films, specifically if Kylo Ren is like Strelnikov and how Rey's ended up an orphan mirrors Tanya Komarova

I've seen Kylux shippers hating on Reylo, while saying Kylux is okay because they're "both evil". Honestly, if they think Kylo and Hux are the same kind of character, they haven't been paying attention...
