Hmm, good thinking. Haven't found it yet, but I remember it...

I remember the rumor about Luke having a pet. I believe it was described as some sort of "lizard dog Ewok" thing. I guess that could be sort of like a big furby.

Re: the cloak... It could be Kylo or Luke's cloak... but I also remember people on the Dubrovnik set wearing black cloaks between takes.

Ok the black cape is totally from Kylo when he rescues her from drowning. That's the only explanation.  

Either that or Chewie had one on the MF because he's secretly a sith lord...

So I think MSW may have uncovered the mystery of those fanboy cheers and boo's. Those are puffins booing and cheering Rey/Sea Monster.

This new rumor is great! Just what paranoid Luke fans need. He's basically a reclusive 'cat lady' type being alone on his island with all his fur babies. hahaha

After the spoiler drought - Rogue One is out - we can slowly but surely expect VIII various rumors.

As I see the "chicken-monster" could still be in the game.

On the Rey's cloak - I won't to ruin the fun but in some unlucky theory it could be that someone mistook the black cover robe that actors has to wear.

However, let's believe for now something like this could happen:

Puffins? I just saw a documentary yesterday on the Arctic and they showed puffins too. It's the Force telling me that the spoiler is true

If well done, why not, but so far it sounds a bit ridiculous. I am a bit wary about the sharp-teethed-puffin-furbies deciding who gets to stay on the island. What are they going to do? Attack Rey like Hitchcok's Birds? Unless they are force sensitive, I don't see them in a position to send Rey home and why she would put up with that sith in the first place. But then I really want to see more creatures. And I am the one with a grin on my face when there is a space cat in SW Rebels.

One thing is sure, if the sharp-teethed-puffin-furbies are real, it could be juicy for LF and they would have to put them in a teaser soon enough for people to still be able to buy the plushy things for Christmas.

Mark talked about these capes like Jedi use to wear but black. It could be this or with Kylo but more betting on this being for actors.

Could this space puffins be so powerful that they provoke Kylo's ship crashing?

If they're protectors - I reckon they don't like visitors.

I thought Ahch-To was supposed to be the planet, rather than that one island. But if the space puffins protect the island, then how come she, Chewie and R2 are there already?

I doubt the part about the Furby-puffins demanding Rey pass a test to stay on the island.

1) She's been trudging all over the place to find Luke, I'd expect a society considering itself to be some sort of guardian/sentinel for their island to react quickly and take unwanted visitors out ASAP.
2) Chewie and R2-D2 are there too, so they'd have to pass some sort of test as well?

And I hate to spoil the fun, but if those things decided to attack/got anywhere near Ren and his KoR they'd probably be turned into chicken nuggets.

I am in a position that allows me to know certain details regarding the movie. There have been a lot of “leaks” recently that the crew has found nothing short of hilarious. People have been teasing Daisy Ridley calling her ‘My father’ on set as a joke after the whole bullshit Reddit post which went viral regarding Rey being the reincarnation of Anakin.
Now regarding the movie, here is a bit of information which some of you may find enticing.
- Laura Dern’s character is named Asala Qurd. She is playing the leader of one of the Republic’s military cruisers who were not near the planet that Starkiller blew up. She was a part of the group of politicians and military leaders who believed that the First Order posed no threat, and there is a verbal confrontation between her and Leia in which Dern says ‘ The daughter of Darth Vader has no right to lecture me!’
- Poe Dameron has more screen time and isn’t just in an X-wing like most of TFA.
- Hayden Christenson shot a scene during the nighttime at Pinewood, in which he communicates with both Luke and Rey.
- Kelly Tran is a really cool individual and is a really kind person who can’t act. I have no idea why they cast her in Star Wars. Her characters’ name is Shtala Zi, and is a Resistance contact on the planet that houses Beneicio Del Toro, more on him later. She has a safe-house there and it is seen that Poe knows her from before. Shtala goes out with Finn and Poe on a reconnaissance mission, and just as Finn starts getting attached to her and flirting a bit, The First Order strikes and it is made to seem that she died as she disappears after a huge explosion.
- Yoda also appears to Rey alone, but does speak to Luke without his actual ghost appearing.
- Captain Phasma appears and a gunfight between her squadron and Finn and Poe occurs, with Poe being wounded as he is shot at his wrist. ( I’m not sure but I think they’re going to let his hand be blown off to continue the tradition of a hand being cut off in each episode. )
- Luke explains to Rey the story of Kylo Ren, and how he destroyed everything Luke built after he was corrupted by Snoke. He also speaks of how Han and Ben Solo never really got along, as Ben saw Han as absent from his life. This absence allowed Snoke to really play with his mind.
- Luke mentions Qui-Gon Jin when explaining the light side to Rey.
- No Lando.
- Del Toro is a former bounty hunter and was a leader in the Republic who was not present during the explosion which destroyed the capital. After seeing the devastation, he decides that maybe joining the First Order is his only option and has extremely classified information regarding the Resistance that he plans on giving them in return for immunity. Kylo Ren kills him after Del Toro snickers at Kylo. I have no idea what his name in the movie is.
- Rey is extremely strong with the force but is erratic with it. She tends to tap into the dark side when sparring with Luke which makes him unwilling to train her. Luke has the company of a small animal furry thing on his island, which looks like a cross between a dog, an Ewok and a lizard.
- Leia is wounded in an explosion which prompts Luke to action, Rey also feels a disturbance in the force. They leave on the Falcon to join the rest.
- That’s all I really have. The second half of the third act of the movie is EXTREMELY under wraps. Literally maybe 8 people know what is going down. I asked someone who knows and she told me, “ You’ll wanna wait and see it in a crowded movie theatre.”

The absence of any reference to Kylo and the KoR turning up on the island makes this deeply suspect, but the crossover re. Luke's animal friend is certainly interesting. I reckon it's probably just a lucky coincidence, though - there's no indication that the pet described in the 4Chan leak is any sort of bird.

So was wrong about Luke being completely alone, however I was not wrong about that rain scene. Those are not creatures being killed by KOR, they are a clan. A clan fighting against the KOR with a blue lightsaber (script spoilers from before tfa was even released, before the trailer even came out for tfa, Pablo confirming it's a clan leader being stabbed, Pablo confirming a village being wiped out in that scene, bodies not rocks in comics)

As with many "leaks" some of this jibes with what we've read from more reliable sources, but a lot of it doesn't.

Like you said, there's no mention of Kylo and the KoR showing up on Ahch-To. This leak also says that Rey and Luke leave in the Falcon after Leia is wounded...which doesn't fit with Leia getting injured fairly early on. Also, if KMT is wounded fairly soon after she meets Finn and Poe, that doesn't make sense with the later-in-the-movie scene that MSW described where Finn and KMT infiltrate a star destroyer.

There might be some lucky guesses here, or this person had access to a few things (I've seen that rumor about Hayden filming a scene at night at Pinewood in a few places), or most likely, they're reporting things that have been reported elsewhere (e.g. Kylo killing BdT for making fun of him) and adding a bit of their own headcanon.

I remembered that JJ talked about all the puffins on Skellig Michael during the London TFA press conference (at around 31:40)

The puffins rumor sounds interesting. From their description, they're supposed to be cute so I bet Disney/LF will be making toys out of those little guys.

I couldn't help but get excited at the prospect of Rey potentially donning a black cape on Ahch-to. I mean, as far as we know, Rey didn't bring a black cape with her and we know Kylo will be there with a black cape. So, unless Luke brought a whole wardrobe with him to Ahch-to, it could very well be Kylo's cape, couldn't it!?

Based on that MSW description, imaging how the puffins might react to Kylo and his KOR makes me laugh.
