Felicity Jones is hit or miss with me. I've skimmed reviews and her performance in Rogue One is pretty divisive. I haven't seen it myself so I can't judge personally. I liked her in Like Crazy and thought she did an okay job in the The Theory of Everything. Maslany is definitely the stronger actress.

Oh haha To Catch a Thief is a family favorite in my house! We are big Grace Kelly fans. I've watched that movie dozens of times.

I agree with Darth Dingbat and Darth Awakened.

I think the scenery fits with Dubrovnik...rich people and intrigue and all that. Expensive parties, hotels, gambling, a lovely beach, etc...very Dubrovnik. And lots of expensive jewelry, suspense, lies, sneaking around etc. --it's a Hitchcock movie so there is of course darkness, suspense, and some blood as well.

If there is some sort of bounty hunter role or something like that? --that could fit the story inspiration. The whole idea is that it took an ex-thief to catch a thief. So, it might take someone lawless to help the law in Star Wars? But who knows. And it is really a very romantic movie, but who knows if Rian was inspired by the romance at all. Grace Kelly's character makes me think more of Leia in the OT than Rey. She's a proper, upperclass woman who falls in love with the scoundrel ex-thief (after first being cold to him and trying to trick him into getting caught--she thought he was the real thief at first) and helps him clear his name and catch the real thieves. She's tough and smart, but not quite the hero of her own story like Rey. The romance is exciting, though, since they don't know if they can really trust each other for most of the movie and there are big kissing scenes with fireworks (literally lol) and dramatic music etc.

But like most of you guys, I also bet Rian Johnson was inspired more aesthetically by the movie and most likely for the fancy Dubrovnik gambling and seaside party stuff (the aesthetics actually really match up).

I just read on a celebrity gossip site just posted Carrie Fisher had a massive heart attack on her flight back from London.  They rushed her to the hospital but that is all they are able to report about her right now!

I'm feeling just as s*** as I felt when I heard the news about Anton Yelchin, and seeing him in Star Trek Beyond made me feel like tearing up again. Please, oh please - 2016 you will NOT have her!!!

This is horrible and if she survives (my dad had a similar heart attack), there's a long road ahead for recovery. Especially is breathing was cut off. Eff you 2016, she's been everywhere lately with the book tour and such a joy to hear.

This is beyond horrible. I rarely feel so invested in celebrities that I'd be devastated if something happened to them... saddened, yes... but Carrie and Mark are among those that I just... I have no words.

I can't believe the news re. Carrie. She's so brilliant and vibrant. 2016 can't take her.

The LA Times says that CPR wasn't performed until AFTER the plane finally landed, and that she'd been unconscious and unresponsive before then. This can't be happening...

What the hell people? Doing CPR and knowing how it's done properly should be mandatory to learn!

Airline staff were likely trained in it and the FAA has required planes to carry AEDs since 2001. It just depends if people were able to figure out what's happening. I was with my dad when he had his heart attack at the beginning and he was walking/talking fine, so we had an argument about his symptoms. And it's even harder for women to identify the symptoms of an attack b/c it's different (but most people tend to be trained for the symptoms for men).

Dreadful news about Carrie. Please let her be o.k.
